Demi – Sec
An elegant, subtle interpretation of this classic sparkling wine style, our Demi-Sec offers an appealing touch of sweetness on a bright, balanced and exquisitely versatile palate. Floral aromas of jasmine and orange blossom open on the nose, blending with richer hints of citrus pound cake. The refreshingly crisp and effervescent palate offers notes of lemon meringue, juicy pear, honey, guava and baked pie crust, finishing with a touch of toasted almond. Our Demi-Sec pairs well throughout the meal. Enjoy this alongside a crostini with smoked blue cheese, bread and butter pickles and crispy onions as a starter; for a main course, try spicy Peruvian leche de tigre (or ceviche) with choclo corn, served with yucca fries. For dessert, pour with Meyer lemon bars topped with shaved white chocolate.
2018 Vintage Brut
A classic expression of J Vintage Brut, offering elegance, brightness and complexity. A lively bead of fine bubbles forms a delicate, lacy mousse, lifting the wine’s crisp aromas from the glass. Orange blossom, green apple and kumquat characteristics at the forefront evolve into a full, bright palate. Notes of peach, red apple, florals and brioche toast layer beautifully with hints of slate, lemon curd and flaky croissant crust.
2022 Bow tie Pinot Noir
Our Bow Tie Vineyard Pinot Noir is a classic, richly layered example of the Middle Reach neighborhood of the Russian River Valley. Dark cherry, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry and spiced orange fruit notes cascade on the deeply expressive palate, while underlying hints of cedar, dried oregano and spiced orange add definition and dimension. Elegant, approachable and beautifully textured. Enjoy this crowd-pleasing Pinot Noir with radicchio salad with toasted almonds, poached pear and a honey-champagne vinaigrette or, for a main dish, smoked duck breast with a stuffing of spiced squash, cranberry and pomegranate molasses. For dessert, try a sweet crepe with smoked spiced raspberry coulis and fresh whipped cream.
2022 Bow tie Chardonnay
This single-vineyard Chardonnay highlights the qualities of the highly aromatic and expressive Z clone, which gives this wine its signature aromas of floral and citrus. Opening with notes of jasmine, orange blossom and lemon on the nose, the weighty palate offers appealingly rich, creamy texture lifted by bright acidity. Oak-influenced hints of butterscotch, vanilla and caramel at the forefront evolve to fruit notes of baked Meyer lemon, juicy peach and yellow apple. A touch of river stone adds another noteworthy layer before the memorable finish. Try this Chardonnay with cheese Danish with fresh peach at brunch or, for heartier meals, gnocchi cacio e pepe or a creamy lobster risotto with Meyer lemon. Or pair with Comté cheese topped with Indian spiced apple chutney.
