We were thrilled to recently be a part of Broadway Actress and Glee Star Jenna Ushkowitz’s Wedding celebration by showcasing a spectacular Cuvée 20 tower for her guests to enjoy. Jenna has been an avid J sparkling enthusiast ever since a special visit to our winery, so we asked her to tell us about her journey with J.
J VINEYARDS AND WINERY: HOW DID YOU DISCOVER THE BRAND, AND WHAT MADE YOUR EXPERIENCE SPECIAL?
Jenna Ushkowitz: We visited J in the Russian River Valley on a wine tasting trip back in 2019. We loved the sparkling flight and the gorgeous label because J is for Jenna! 😉 The grounds are so beautiful, and it was such a fun, memorable visit for us.

JVW: HOW DO YOU PAIR J WINES AT HOME?
JU: We will pull out a bottle of J sparkling for any occasion, really. Sometimes it’s just a Friday night at home, or when some friends come by for dinner. We like to bring J with us when we go to friends’ houses. A rule of ours is, you don’t go somewhere empty-handed!
JVW: WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT CALIFORNIA SPARKLING WINES?
JU: I think California wines are special because of the dynamic climates. You could visit the Russian River Valley or Santa Barbara and you’re going to get something so unique to that specific area. We love California and really appreciate the art of winemaking in our state!
JVW: WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE J SPARKLING WINE FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY?
JU: Like everything for our wedding, we wanted the feeling to be intimate and authentic to who we are as a couple. Not only are J’s sparkling wines delicious, but having an experience like visiting the vineyard and having that memory greatly added to the personal touch that we were looking for our guests and us to experience on our day.
JVW: HOW DID THE J SPARKLING TOWER COMPLEMENT THE WEDDING OF YOUR DREAMS?
JU: Before we even started planning, I had this dream that we’d have a champagne tower. I didn’t want a huge, ornate wedding by any means, but this definitely felt like “us.” Showcasing this fantastic centerpiece of J sparkling was truly memorable and exciting. Our guests loved it!
