Most Beloved Wine of 2024: Brut Rosé

VinePair Holiday Wine Shop Pick Brut Rosé

Few would be surprised that Brut Rosé was our best
-seller of 2024 and one of 50 wines selected for
the VinePair Holiday Wine Shop.

Winemaker Nicole Hitchcock’s wine of the month from
February
, this wine opens with layered characteristics
of ripe raspberries, rose petals and a savory note of
slivered almonds. The palate is elegant and flavorful, with
notes of fresh mandarin orange, roasted strawberries
and crème fraîche. Lively acidity and steely minerality
frame a crisp, lingering finish.

Shifting the Lens Returned with New Chefs

A new year of our award-winning Shifting the Lens culinary series brought new guest chefs, cuisines and perspectives to the Bubble Room. Each chef created a fully curated five-course tasting menu paired with small-lot sparkling and still wines created by Winemaker Nicole Hitchcock.

Chef Rashida Holmes dazzled guests with Afro-Caribbean cuisine inspired by her own cultural and experiential journey, while Chef Damarr Brown put inspiration on a plate with his personal take on southern traditions and African diaspora cuisine.

Chef Holmes was amazing! Not only was her food fantastic and the pairings excellent,
her stories and history were told beautifully before each course. I’ve been to a couple
of chef’s tastings, and this one set itself far apart from the rest.

J Vineyards 2024 Wrapped: Shifting The Lens

Chef Brown’s brilliant fusion of spices transformed what could’ve been an ordinary night
into a culinary journey. It felt truly special. Shifting the Lens is greatly needed in the
wine industry as it brings cuisine from America’s diverse cultures to the forefront.
